"It was certainly a pleasure to announce another promotion during third quarter, that of Sam G.'s to Assistant Manager, as it reflects one of our company's key values: career advancement,"

Alon, Director of Operations

As Alon noted, Sam moved into an Assistant Manager role at Legion. “He’s now responsible for territory management, compliance, coaching, human resources functions, and building a team,” Alon stated. “He certainly is equipped for this role.”

Sam attended California State University, East Bay, where he studied business administration, marketing, and human resources. “His education provided him with the foundation for this role, in which each of his skills are valuable,” continued Alon.

In addition to his education, Sam stated that he’s added more skills during his time at Legion. “I’ve most definitely become more proficient in human resources, coaching, and leadership,” he said. “I’ve gained a better understanding of the legal aspects of business as well.”

“I enjoy the experience of setting and making goals,” Sam added. “It’s certainly a fast-paced role.”

Sam’s future sights are set on advancing his team into new markets in Northern California. At some point, he’d like to expand into regional management as well as develop a portfolio of Fortune 500 businesses that he’s successfully served.

Legion Manager States Team Growth Equals Firm Growth

While celebrating Sam’s accomplishments, Alon turned to how advancing all associates is Legion’s overall goal. “We’re not like most companies that hire someone for a job and that’s where they’ll stay,” he stressed. “This firm believes in the principles of a steady career path.”

As for why this is so important to the company, Alon explained. “Loyalty equals productivity and motivation,” he added. “When your associates know that there are opportunities that they can work toward, they’ll deliver better results.”

“We focus heavily on training and coaching our associates on the firm’s unique methodologies,” he added. “It’s an investment and one that we’d like to see returned in-house. Companies that train team members but have no place for them to go often see that knowledge and talent benefit a competitor.”

Alon concluded, “We believe in our associates, like Sam, who put forth their best efforts. Promotions and rewards help them grow. This in turn boosts our firm’s ability to thrive. It’s all part of the iterative cycle of good business practices that we strive to exemplify.”
